About the HENCH Project
Aaron Carnahan is the founder and manager of The HENCH Project.
Established in 2015 for the NHS, it has been awarded both the “Improving Lives Award” 2016/2017 and CQUIN award (Commissioning for Quality and Innovation).
Aaron has worked extensively within the NHS, specialising in Anabolic/Androgenic Steroid (AAS) and Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs (IPEDs) of which he was the professional lead for the Substance Misuse Service.
He has completed studies in post-graduate advanced pharmacology at Wolverhampton University and has been a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience.
Aaron has written extensively on anabolic/androgenic steroids and associated IPEDs. He continues to work with universities and academic groups to further knowledge in this field.
